All Seniors that wish to become Page One nominees must turn in resumes and letters in Mrs. Romey’s room (109A) by 2:30 p.m. TOMORROW.
After school tutoring for the AHSGE is Monday through Thursday from 2:40-4:00. Biology with Mrs. Lawhon will be in room 203. Science with Mrs. Eastridge will be in room 202. Social studies with Mrs. Gypsy Cook will be in room 123. Language with Ms. Walker will be in room 102. Math with Ms. Oberle will be in room 106. Reading with Mrs. Brewer (Tuesdays and Thursdays only) will be in room 128. Transportation will be provided.
Drama Club meets next Tuesday afternoon at 2:45 in Mrs. Laney’s room (100). All interested students are urged to attend. We will be electing officers for this year.
Congratulations to the newly elected Beta Club officers for this year. President-Lateesha Thomas; Secretary-Kimberly Keels; Treasurer-Brandon Garrett. There was a tie for vice-president and members need to stop by Mrs. Gandy’s room (212) to re-vote for vice-president.
All Culinary Arts students can attend the field trip to Le Cordon Bleu in Atlanta scheduled for next Tuesday. Get the permission slip and the $14 fee to Chef McCoy by tomorrow.
Students assigned to 5th block must bring materials to work with. 5th block begins promptly at 2:40 in room 121 Monday through Thursday.
Tickets are on sale in the office for tonight’s Fall Jamboree football game against Carver. Game time is 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $6 and may be purchased here at the school or at the gate. The game will be televised live on CSS. Come out and support the Red Devils tonight at 7:00 p.m. at Garrett Stadium. Teachers: Please do not let students out of your classroom to purchase tickets. Tickets must be purchased before school, after school or during student’s lunch wave from Mrs. Tadlock.
JV Softball players who played last year and plan to play this year MUST meet in Coach McCollum’s room (200) at 3:00 p.m. today.
Spanish Club meets next Tuesday at 2:40 in room 105. Everyone is welcome, even if you are not enrolled in a Spanish class. We will take nominations for officers and discuss plans for the year.
Students, don’t forget! Senior Ad order forms and Buddies/Friends Ad order forms are due to Ms. Hamilton no later than Friday, November 14. Everything is due at this time. Your ad must be paid in full and all pictures received by November 14. No late orders or partial orders will be accepted. If you need another form, see Ms. Hamilton during 3rd or 4th blocks only.
