Horticulture curriculum allows students to receive instructions about this multi-faceted industry and participate in hands-on activities in the areas of careers, technology advancements, employability skills, SAEPS, computer applications, basic plant science, plant propagation, soil and media mixture, plant nutrition, greenhouse design and structures, nursery crops, hydroponics, and vegetable gardening. This course encourages critical thinking, use of the scientific method, integration of technology, development of student leadership skills, and application of knowledge and the skills related to practical question/problems.
