HEALTH ISSUES

Did you know eating five fruits and/or vegetables daily can reduce

the risks of heart disease, cancer, and diabetes?

This is why we want to educate students and adults

to eat healthier by choosing 5-9 servings of fruits

and vegetables a day. Health Services is planning a program for

the elementary schools for 2004/2005 to encourage

students to learn good nutrition and set their own

goals through an activity driven program designed to provide

creative ways of learning.
