Meadowlane is located on a beautiful sixty-acre site in South Phenix City. Two, partitioned, octagonal pods are designated as instructional areas, with the Media Center as the hub. The school is composed of kindergarten through fifth grades. The faculty consists of a principal, secretary/bookkeeper, guidance counselor, physical education teacher, five instructional aides, one collaborative teacher and one writing to read lab aide. The school has the services of a part-time speech therapist, media specialist and school nurse.

Meadowlane Elementary School has been a Title I school-wide program since 1995. The Title I status entitles the school to federal funding. These funds are used to purchase instructional materials and supplies.

We believe that every child can learn. We set high academic and behavioral expectations for our students and believe that parental involvement is very important in the academic achievement of our students.
