Meadowlane Elementary School is committed to 100% literacy.  Our school uses the Story Town Reading Series developed by Harcourt to assist us as we move toward this goal.  This reading program provides whole group lessons that target the five components of reading instruction: Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Vocabulary, Fluency, and Comprehension.  The program also has small group lessons to review and reinforce content introduced in whole group lessons.
