-Write a paragraph in “sandwich” style using the provided prompt.

-Collect the two paragraphs already written:  Elephants and The Best Pet.

-Type one of these as finished product for mastery of  “use computer for expression.”

-Review triangles on pages 342-345.

-Study for the second Mastery test about triangles on Tuesday.

-Work on Accelerated Math.  Students must mastery 40 objectives this last nine weeks.

-Demonstrate knowledge of triangles by taking the second Mastery Test.

-Discuss numbers less than zero, comparing negative and positive numbers, temperatures that drop (get colder) and rise (get warmer).  See pages 712-719.

-Work on Accelerated Math.  Students must mastery 40 objectives this last nine weeks.

-Check on the Tomatosphere.

-Review  and study Number Sentences on pages 108-109, 696-699, 700-703, 704-705, and 706-709.

-8:30-9:30 Holly Chesnut, a student assistant at the Coca-Cola Space Science Center in Columbus, GA, will be assisting us in using a new observatory program that views the sun through a remote connection on our computers.  We will go to a specific web site and view a live picture of the sun.  This program is fun for the kids and a great teaching tool for the teachers.

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Check on the Tomatosphere.

-Demonstrate knowledge of number sentences by taking the Mastery Tests.

Thursday

-Proofread your Word of the Week writing to make it flawless.

-Publish your final copy in the Changing Lives activity book.

Always print in legible handwriting.

-Write down all assignments in planner, even if they are completed.

-Get your planner signed by your parent/guardian every night.

-Write a paragraph in “sandwich” style using the provided prompt.

-Study for a mastery test on paragraph writing.

-Always print in legible handwriting.

-Calculate elapsed time on pages 564-567.  Study for the Mastery Test on Friday.

-Discuss customary measures on pages 614-615, 622-623, and 620-621.

-Work on Accelerated Math.  Students must mastery 40 objectives this last nine weeks.

-Check on the Tomatosphere.

-Ms. Caberra will be doing a metric lesson with the sciences classes.

DARE graduation will be during this time, and we’ll do grammar this afternoon.

-Demonstrate knowledge of elapsed time by taking the Mastery Test.

(May have to take the test after we return from DARE.)

-Work on Accelerated Math.  Students must mastery 40 objectives this last nine weeks.

-Discuss customary measures on pages 614-615, 622-623, and 620-621.

-Attend the DARE Graduation in the morning.

-Complete Grammar.
