-Take the Degrees of Reading Power (DRP).

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep 1-9 transparency and the Problem of the Day. 

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Review Friday’s work.

-Use rounding, front-end estimation, and front-end estimation with adjusting to estimate sums and differences of whole numbers and decimals on pages 28-31(problems with only whole numbers).

-Write a rough draft for the Word of the Week in the Changing Lives activity book.

-Write the abbreviations and initials correctly on pages 90-91 and complete the review on page 97 (26-30).

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep 1-10 transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Review Monday’s work.

 -If time permits, work in groups to create a large web on space.

Wednesday

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep 1-13 transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Review Thursday’s work.

-Review math content by completing the Diagnostic Checkpoint on page 35.

-View the SciFiles called “The Case of the Galactic Vacation.
