FYI:  The following students have not passed 5 stories/books for this nine-week period:  Charles, Brandon, Naliaka, Tyeshia, Jeremy, Erik, Kimberly, and Damian.

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Special Gifts

During Hanukkah, Jewish families light a candle and give each other a gift each night for eight nights.  If you were to give someone eight special gifts, to whom would you give them and what would they be?

-Complete pages 242-243.

-Study Adjectives for the second mastery test on Tuesday. 

-Write an expository essay explaining why Christmas is your favorite holiday.

-Play the grammar game in the computer lab.

-Type some of your essays or paragraphs in the computer lab.

-Practice manuscript and cursive handwriting.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

-Review multiplication and division of 2 digit divisors by dividing and checking with multiplication on page 255 (Do the first 5 problems of each of the following sets:  Set 4-4, Set 4-5, and Set 4-6)  

-Work on Accelerated Math.  You need to pass 20 Accelerated Math objectives before December 17th.

-Practice your timetables.

-When you go to the computer lab or Mission Control, try visiting some of the following approved sites:

-Work on your individual Math Online Intervention and Take it to the Net website:  http://www.SFSuccessnet.com

-Practice a variety of skills:

Many people visit their relatives during the holidays.  Pretend that your uncle has just stopped by to visit, and he has brought a famous person as a surprise.  Who is it?  How does your family react?

-Write an essay describing the perfect Christmas.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

-Review simplifying fractions.

-Work on Accelerated Math.  You need to pass 20 Accelerated Math objectives before December 17th.

-Proofread your Word of the Week writing to make it flawless.

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Safe Water

The Safe Drinking Water Act became law on this day in 1974.  Why is it important to have a law protecting our water supply?

-Write rough drafts of an expository essay, a narrative essay, and a descriptive essay for the topic of A Different Kind of Hero.

-Practice manuscript and cursive handwriting.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

-Demonstrate knowledge of various language mastery objectives for this nine-week period as needed.
