-Practice manuscript and cursive handwriting.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

-Read and discuss verb sheets (pages 14-17) from Good Apple’s Grammar Fun by John Artman. GA466

-Study Verbs and Subject-Verb Agreement for the mastery tests on Wednesday.  (pages 144-173)

-Play the grammar game on verbs in the computer lab.

-Type some of your essays or paragraphs in the computer lab.

-Review variables and expressions, solve equations, and story problems using worksheet pages 9, 10, and 12 from Advantage Math 5. CTP 8105.

-Practice writing number sentences to solve word problems on pages 104-105, 114-117.

-Complete the vocabulary worksheet for lesson 8.

Thursday

-Proofread your Word of the Week writing to make it flawless.

-Write a 5-paragraph essay on the prompt provided by the teacher.

-Practice manuscript and cursive handwriting.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Practice your timetables.

-Using a calculator, correctly calculate equations using the order of operations.

-Demonstrate knowledge of Order of Operations by taking the first Mastery Test.

-Study for a test on Lesson 8:  pages 98-107

-Understand the following three words:  renewable, nonrenewable, and conserve.

-List the five alternative energy sources and describe them using pages C104-105.

Friday

-Publish your final copy in the Changing Lives activity book.

(Activities from Changing Lives are given grades in Language as “Other Averages.”)

-Write down all assignments in planner, even if they are completed.

-Get your planner signed by your parent/guardian every night.

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Destination Unknown

-Write a 5-paragraph essay using the prompt the teacher provides.
