Monday

-Discuss the Word of the Week:  Joyfulness

-Brainstorm ideas about the word.

-Write the ideas in the Changing Lives activity book.

-Write a rough draft for the Word of the Week in the Changing Lives activity book.

-Write down all assignments in planner, even if they are completed.

-Get your planner signed by your parent/guardian every night.

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Thanksgiving Meal

-Review capitalization.

-Study for the first mastery test on capitalization.

-Practice manuscript and cursive handwriting.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

 

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-Review and practice estimating products using worksheet page 7 from Teacher’s Helper TEC48015 Oct./Nov. 2004.

-Review division, factoring, greatest common factor, and least common multiple.

-Study for the second mastery test on estimating products on Tuesday.

-Second group needs to finish thank you to Ms. Manzer and bar graph on Planet Hopping.

-Work on Accelerated Math.  Remember, this nine week period you need to pass 20 Accelerated Math objectives.

-Practice your timetables.  You must know them quickly.

-Work on your individual Math Online Intervention and Take it to the Net website:  http://www.SFSuccessnet.com

-Complete pages 108-109 using the book.

-Listen to the tour of the ocean.

-Select and research an animal or item that can be found at one of the levels of the ocean.

Tuesday

-Revise your rough draft on the Word of the Week in the Changing Lives activity book to make it better.

-Proofread your Word of the Week writing to make it flawless.

-Publish your final copy in the Changing Lives activity book.

(Activities from Changing Lives are given grades in Language as “Other Averages.”)

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Sometimes I feel like a Nut

-Take a mastery test on capitalization.

-Practice manuscript and cursive handwriting.

-Participate in the Book It Program.

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-Demonstrate knowledge of estimating products by taking the second mastery test.
