-Discuss the Word of the Week:  Politeness

-Brainstorm ideas about the word.

(Activities from Changing Lives are given grades in Language as “Other Averages.”)

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Safe Way Out.

-Take a practice writing assessment by writing for 50 minutes on the writing prompt.

-Demonstrate knowledge of various objectives covered this first nine weeks.

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Review Friday’s work:  pages 70-71 Properties

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-Use the standard algorithm to multiply numbers of one- and two digit numbers on pages 72-75.  Also, multiply numbers with decimals on page 89 to help prepare for the multiplying 2-digits.

-Practice your timetables.

-Complete Estimation of sums and differences.

-Demonstrate knowledge of Multiplication Properties (second Mastery Test).

-Demonstrate knowledge of Interpreting Data from Bar Graphs and Double Bar Graphs by taking the second Mastery Test.

-Study for first Mastery test on Multiplying 2 digit numbers tomorrow.

-Review and practice in Homework workbook:  pages 16 and 17. 

-Work on your individual Math Online Intervention and Take it to the Net website:  http://www.SFSuccessnet.com

-View Scifiles and take notes:  Galactic Vacation.

Tuesday

-Write the ideas in the Changing Lives activity book.

-Write a rough draft for the Word of the Week in the Changing Lives activity book.

-Write in the Daily Writing Composition book:  Let’s Celebrate!

-Practice cursive handwriting.

-Demonstrate knowledge of various objectives covered this first nine weeks.

-Work on Accelerated Math.

-Review Monday’s work:  pages 74-75 and workbook pages 16-17.

-Solve problems from the Spiral Review and Test Prep transparency and the Problem of the Day.

-For a variety of problems, state the computation method to be used and multiply using that method on pages 76-77.

-Practice your timetables.

-Demonstrate knowledge of Multiplying 2-digit numbers by taking the first Mastery Test.

-Demonstrate knowledge of various objectives covered this first nine weeks.

-Review and practice in Homework workbook:  page 18.

-Demonstrate knowledge of Multiplying 2-digit numbers by taking the second Mastery Test.

-Demonstrate knowledge of various objectives covered this first nine weeks.
