Pictures for your Ears
I saw a lot of instruments. There were trombones, the tambourine,
cymbals, and clarinets. In my mind, I saw pictures, like pictures of rabbits,
cities, and towers. I also saw a ship
sailing peacefully along the sea.
I
heard clocks ticking and birds chirping. The woodwind group was high like
birds. The brass group was low as an
elephant. They made bell sounds by the tambourine, triangle, and the violin.
What
I learned is that the composer is the person who writes the music. The conductor directs the orchestra. The composer usually doesn't direct
the orchestra when he composes the music. There were about 20 to 30 people that played the instruments.
