On October 29, 2001, Quest 2 went on a field trip to Tuskegee National Forest and the Mann Museum.

On the way to the field trip and back I sat with Rebecca T., and Jessica M.  The bus driver was very nice.  He didn’t hit any bumps like my bus driver that takes me home.  It took about 40 minutes from our school to the National Forest.  We had to go through several towns until we got there.

The Tuskegee National Forest was very educational and cool.  I learned that yellow jackets don’t actually sting you it bites you although it might sting.  We didn’t see much wilderness, but we did see a deer run across the road.  The forest ranger’s name was Willie Humphrey.

The Mann Museum was very exciting.  I experienced a lot of things.  There were a lot of educational facts for each animal.  One of the things I learned was that a polar bear can smell 40 miles away. There were lots of nice chaperones.  My chaperone name was Ty’s dad.  We had lots of fun.
